Filing a Claim                      Marshall Insurance

We hope you never experience a loss, but if you do, just follow the steps below for a smooth claim process.

If You Have a Claim…

1.  Contact our office at 704-684-0082,  704-684-0083 (fax), or gary@marshallins.net (email).

2.  If you are not able to reach us during business hours, call your carrier directly:

3.  Discuss your circumstances with a claims adjustor to help you decide if you want to file a claim.

HOMEOWNER CLAIM

  1. Call the fire department or police authorities.
  2. Take whatever action necessary to protect the property.
  3. Contact our office.
  4. Make an inventory of damaged or missing personal property.

AUTO CLAIM

  1. STOP!  Do not leave the scene.
  2. Report the accident to police and cooperate with authorities.
  3. Get medical attention if needed.
  4. DO NOT admit fault or disclose the limits of your policy.
  5. Guard your property from further damage.
  6. Get the other driver(s) name, address, phone number, driver’s license number, & license plate number.
  7. Wait for the police to produce an incident report.
  8. Contact our office.
